Complementary WatchList

Note: Consider using 'Stop-Limit' orders to reduce the risk of unfavorable transaction prices in rapidly moving markets.
  1. View the Trading Watchlist

Compare the items in your Watchlist with the corresponding stock charts in your trading platform. If a 'Buy-Stop' price is provided, consider placing a Buy-Stop-Limit order at that price. Be sure to use a Buy-Stop-Limit order, not just a Buy-Stop order, to prevent purchasing above the Stop price. Conversely, if only a Sell-Stop price is listed, protect any existing long positions with a Sell-Stop-Limit order. This reflects the detection of a pattern likely indicating a potential price decline.

The Watchlist items are generated from patterns identified using both fundamental and technical data, which strongly correlate with price momentum over a 2-10 day period. A 'Buy' signal in the context of a 'Bearish' pattern may suggest an upcoming reversal, while a 'Buy' signal in a 'Bullish' pattern typically signals a continuation. Similarly, a 'Buy' or 'Sell' signal in a 'Neutral' pattern could indicate an impending breakout.

  2. Employ Risk Management

Consider employing the recommended Long Entry (Buy-Stop-Limit), Sell-Stop-Limit and Breakeven prices. Move your Sell-Stop price up to your Buy-Stop Limit purchase price as soon as the market price reaches the Breakeven price. Risk management becomes easier with Stocksaurus.
  3. Consider a Trade

Add a next day or same day Stop-Limit order in the direction of your trade. Size the order in accordance with your portfolio management strategy. Make it easy and consider using bracket orders in your trading tool to automate your risk management trades.
